Today is the really BIG day. It is our FIRST day of school!
The last week and a half have been exhausting and I have TONS of things to show and share with you! I just need to take pics of everything!
Monday was Wade’s first day of 4K!
That night was also our Open House Orientation where I got to meet my little cherubs and their parents and had lots of fun parceling out loads of tissues and wipes and hand sanitizer galore. :)
Chris was on kid duty, though the boys really gave him a run for his money. I think they were collaborating or something. Before the night was over, the Davis Man had managed to have TWO messy diapers. TWO.
While Chris was changing the first one out in the van, Wade decided to run off and play hide and seek in the parking lot of cars. When they were finally reunited and up in Haylee’s classroom waiting on that part of the night to start, Davis decided to give him the second and final messy diaper of the night. So back out to the van it was.
Haylee ended up being on her own most of the night, though when I caught sight of her toward the end she seemed to be having a grand time already carousing with some new friends in the hallway. :)
I’m not sure whether to think all the madness ENDS tomorrow or is it only just beginning???
Today I’m sharing with you a fun FREE printable… a Techie iPhone themed Homework Pass! I ended up doing lots of technology themed decor in my room, so iPhone Homework passess seemed to be a perfect fit. :)
I let students use a homework pass to cancel homework in ONE subject except for Math and English. For those two subjects, they can use the Homework Pass to delay one night’s homework. I give out Homework Passes for birthdays and holidays… like Christmas and Valentine’s, and students can earn hw passes as well. :)
The first one is specifically for 4th grade…
And this one is non-grade specific….
What about you? Do you give out the much coveted Homework Pass? There isn’t anything cheaper that students go bonkers for, am I right? :)

I was curious if you ever considered changing the structure of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect
with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one
or 2 pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
