We are so blessed to have some awesome technology at my school.

But it just ain’t easy to squeeze one more thing into our curriculum and into our day.

I just got my projector installed about 2 weeks ago, and I’m loving it! It does take planning, as well, to come up with things to really utilize it, and not just keep doing things the old pre-projector way I’ve always done it.

I decided over the summer that to help in the actual implementing of the apps into our actual learning and NOT just to be a play time I needed to make a master app list. This list, of course, will be changing frequently as we add apps, but this gives me somewhere to start. I broke the list down by subject and tried to add a description as well to help me during planning time.

That way, this one page sheet can stay in my planning binder where I can easily cross reference my upcoming objectives and make some app magic happen.

Quite a lot of them I found on the amazing site, appitic.com. It is a massive list broken down by subject! It’s seriously amazing if you’re looking for apps on a specific topic.

My bloggy friend, Rachel, also has made up a great list of educational apps too that you should check out.  She is the master of spreadsheets, so it is the macdaddy of detail!

Sidenote… most, if not all of these, are iPhone/iPad apps. I’ve always been an iphone lover so that’s the length of my expertise. You’re supposed to write about what you know, and that’s what I know, baby.
