Today our big, grown up Haylee girl turns NINE!  I look back at these cutie pie pictures of her and CANNOT believe time has flown by so fast.  She is knocking on the door of tween-dom and I am so very, very skeered.

Like I’ve said before… 4th grade is the beginning of the end.  Can you say drama, drama, drama?  :)

In the meantime, however, we will be clinging dramatically to our sweet little girl who still thinks we’re awesome.

I shared on facebook how she recently let us know she still thinks we’re amazing…

After Wade tried to tell us that he was smarter than Daddy, Haylee informed him matter of factly… “The only person smarter than Daddy is God!”

After we stopped laughing, Chris asked her to make sure she always believed that. :)

We don’t have too many years left of “knowing everything” so it was nice of her to throw us that bone.

Last night I shared the obligatory moment of nostalgia and remarked that nine years ago at this time I was in a lot of pain.

My super supportive hubby thought it would be a good idea to ask me what I thought we’d be doing nine years FROM NOW?

AHHH!  Nine years from now we’ll be days away from her HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION!

Happy Birthday to our sweet, sweet girl who is growing up WAY too fast.
