Twenty-ten has been quite the year for us. So much has changed for us in just one little year. So much, in fact, that my teeny little brain can’t even fully grasp it.
Last year around this time, we weren’t even pregnant. Being pregnant wasn’t even on the horizon for us. I was trying to lose weight for our 10th anniversary cruise, for crying out loud!
In this one little year of 2010, we found out the shocking news that yes, we were expecting our third little terror blessing. Then we were told that another little “Wade” was on the way, as well as some ‘not so good news’ about the baby’s kidney and placenta previa that all ended up being okay.
Another big decision for the year was making the life changer choice of staying at home. It was a very hard decision to make but now looking back I am glad we made it.
I also delved into the brand new, scary, and stereotypical world of homeschooling Haylee-Bailey. Seriously CAN NOT believe how well the first semester went, or that we’ve already finished a semester, for that matter. Who knows if this is something we’ll do long term or not… time will tell, but so far it is working, and that is an enormous relief to me.
Last year at this time I innocently posted these words on this very blog… “What will the year hold for our family?!” Ha ha! Just one month later I would be looking at two lines on a stick and FREAKING OUT!
An eventful but good year, to be sure. Filled with NEW things for the family…
Wonder if there are any further big surprises in store for us in 2011!
