American Idol auditions are always entertaining, although logically you have to just accept the fact that the craziest, funniest, and most awful are allowed to audition before the judges solely for “good tv.”   I mean, how else would some of these people make it past the original screeners?  :)

This season is supposed to be Simon’s last… hard to imagine that the show will maintain its success without his wit and honesty.  You can only take so much of the nicey-nicey judges.

A new season of AI has started and I wanted to share an audition that has gone crazy on you tube.  In less than a week, it has over 1.6 million views!  The song is basically about people needing to pull their sagging pants up.  Deep, I know. 

It’s actually another example of “set up” reality tv.  This guy is actually 61, and the age limit for AI is 28.  I’m sure he just fooled the screeners, right?
