The hubs and I had a HILARIOUS night out together last weekend to a SOLD OUT Tim Hawkins show held right at our church!
This was actually a fund raiser for Youth Missions, and let me just say we raised a TON!!!! Sunday they guessed it to be around $14K or $15K!!!!! Isn’t that crazy?? I think it is awesome that someone as popular as Tim Hawkins would do a fundraising event as opposed to just raking in ALL that dough for himself.
The show started at SEVEN, and the doors opened at SIX. We got there a minute or two before SIX and look at where we were in line!! The door is right there where you can see the awning sticking out…
Our auditorium is huge, and in just a few minutes it was practically FILLED. It was so crazy! By showtime, there were 2,600 people P-A-C-K-E-D in there!!!
{My lucky cousin and her hubby got VIP tickets and supremely awesome seats! They are in the third row back pretty much DIRECTLY in front of TH… in the aqua & white shirts. :) Can’t wait to see HER pics!!}
He did make fun of our auditorium though… He said it looked like the bottom of a Viking Ship… or maybe a corn silo!
Ha ha! It kind of does! :)
He and his wife homeschool their four kids, so he has lots of homeschool jokes!
And his song… the Homeschool Blues which I thought was too funny… :)

I loved Paperwork for Kids {“My kid just wants to sing to Jesus and kick people!” Ha ha! Sounds just like Wade!} & Chris was crying at Discount Grocery Stores…
And the one I think he’s most known for… Chick-fil-A!
The word on the street is that he is even coming back to Northside next year, whoohoo!!!! So mark your calendars now…

Oh my, I think I'm jealous! My husband and I love Tim Hawkins, we laugh until we cry! I have so many favorites, "These are the things you don't say to your wife", "Cletus take the reel" and the one where he does the spoofs on the praise and worship songs with "I can only eat margarine", etc. SO FUNNY!!!
LOLOLOL! Thanks for the gut laughing today. I love Tim Hawkins; he is stinkin' hilarious. I'd love to see him in person.
