We spent Thanksgiving for the first time at Nana and Pop’s this year. It was also the first time not to be able to celebrate T’giving with Grandma and Grandpa. Wah! They weren’t able to make the trip up this year. :( I tried to throw a fit in order to make them come, but as that didn’t work when I was a toddler, it had even less effect now. I am hoping against hope they will be able to make the journey for Christmas so I don’t have to really show out. Chris has ZERO vacay days his whole first year at VV, so going down to visit them is not an option either. Boo hoo and double Wah.
Anyway, so we spent Thanksgiving at Nana and Pop’s, and I AM thankful that we do have Chris’s parents nearby to be able to spend time with. Everything was scrumptious, and we all had a great time stuffing our faces and catching up on each other.
When I found out Nana was hosting this year, I decided Haylee and I would make some Turkey namecards for everyone. This is what we started with…
I didn’t take any pics of the finished product, which is shameful since it was A LOT of work, but here’s one that Linda took.
In fact these are almost all her pics! Hope you don’t mind me swiping these, Linda! I didn’t even dig the camera out of the bag so I don’t have any pics of the day… :(
Thanks! {You got some good ones too…}
He got to one filled with balls and did a double take. :) }
{Love this one of all the Cauthen gkids except for Davis!

What great pics! Davis resembles Wade a lot to me in that first pic. You guys did such a good job on the turkeys. FUN! Sorry you have not had the opportunity to see your parents. Will be praying that just maybe they can come to you at Christmas time.
