We are so proud of Haylee for achieving “Clubber of the Month” in Awana, though I’m not quite sure how, since we are very bad Awana parents, unfortunately. (We don’t do too well reviewing verses or completing sections, etc, through the week.)
Both Chris and I participated in Awanas when we were kids, so we think it is cool that our kids have that same chance… Especially since some churches were moving away from Awana (I think) because of the fact that Awana offers club books in other versions besides KJV. From what I understand, they do still offer it in the King James, however.

She was excited to get a balloon, a certificate, and a small trophy! She also got a ribbon for finishing her book!
