My daredevil husband strikes again. He is trying to give me a heart attack, I know. Tomorrow, my own dear husband, whom I love with all my heart, is jumping out of an airplane.
I do not understand his love for all things dangerous. It has been a source of contention for us in the past. I am not a risk taker. I am the worrier.
I will be there, however, to watch with the camera poised and ready….
Chris loves the thrills of life. He even has plans to own and pilot his very own helicopter one day.
I have gotten better over the years in not trying to stifle his desire for the dangerous.
Early in my pregnancy with Haylee, we flew out to visit friends in Arizona and made a trip out to the Grand Canyon. During our day there, Chris decided it would be fun to climb over the fence and make his way down to the edge for this momentous picture.
His buddy, Larry, was egging him on, and disregarding my pleas and pointed looks, he went ahead with his diabolical plan.
In my great fear and anger, I turned my back and refused to watch him fall to his death. Larry captured the event for all the world to see.
I did get over it and forgive him before we got back to North Carolina, believe it or not!
At least this time, he will be strapped to a professional and equipped with a parachute…
I will let you know how it goes!
Wow, sounds like Chris is quite the risk taker. He just have some big boy fun. I am glad Dan is satisfied with just a few rods/reels and time away fishing.
WOW. Can’t wait to hear how it goes!
Man! You wrote about it before me! See you are such a better blogger-I can’t compare!
Hey, I am all for it. Jason and I are going sky-diving July 14th for Jason’s birthday. I CAN’T WAIT!!!
Hmmm, I’ve always wanted to shove Andy off a plane . . .. :)
