My Very First….

Believe it or not, yesterday I lost my status as “Princess-who-has-never-mowed-the-lawn.”

Yes, you heard me right. I mowed the lawn. Chris was just busy enough to lose some common sense and let me loose on the mower. I was a bit sporadic and jerky to be sure, but at least I tried. :)

I actually did enjoy it, and found it quite relaxing.
It’s just like vacuuming really. :)

You just follow the lines in the carpet and/or grass.
You can see I’m still a bit of a princess, though with my cute little skort. :)

You are so very funny. I love mowing the lawn. It gives me lots of time to pray. I always mow on bad days whether the yard needs it or not.

I am glad you found it enjoyable.

Oh my gosh! I wanna say, “how could you?!” This was a feat we shared, never mowing a lawn…I’m sure though, with Sam gone, my status as “princess who has never mowed the lawn” will change soon also… =(

You Southern Belles make me sick. I hate how gorgeous you look on that lawn mower, too. Okay, now I’ve got another complex . . .

Just kidding! (Hey, if you enjoy mowing or vacuuming, wanna come visit? Actually serious about that . . .)

Man, mowing the lawn is awesome. I guess you can lump me in with the redneck women. . : )
There’s nothing better than big loud machinery. I love driving our backhoe. I will have to post a picture of that. Power tools are pretty cool, too. I actually asked Jason for my own cordless drill for Christmas one year. Crazy, huh?? : )

That is so funny that you have never mowed a lawn (and I worked at the Toro Company…they make lawn mowers) until now because…neither have I until 2 weeks ago and my hubby was out of the country!!

You are too funny! I love to mow as well… we just have a push mower, but I love the exercise it gives.

Maybe now you’ll get to mow more often?! :)

Are you mowing the grass or the dirt? Ha Well I use to love to cut the grass until my husband had to be the lawn man and he got a commercial lawn mower and the last time I was on it was the week before we got married and I was taking it for a test spin and I was heading straight for my car looking and feeling for the brakes to find out I was controling them with my hands and I freaked and the grace of God got me turned around and needless to say I have never been back on a lawn mower. That was over 6 years ago.
