My How Time Flies!

DSC_2291

Happy TWO years to my little man!  Hard to believe it was just two years ago that we were finally welcoming our long awaited second treasure to our family.  Time has flown by, and he is now the family "menace" aka our very own "wrecking ball."  :)  He never seems to be afraid of anything and definitely enjoys life to the fullest.  He can be a real stinker with his trademark mischievous grins and sly looks right before he does something he knows is extremely naughty!

He is starting to be interested in potty training, but we are not really putting a lot of attention on it.  He has gone a few times at school, but so far hasn’t done it for Mommy!  He loves to try to "go pee pee, pobby" as he says.  On one of his attempts, I told him to say, "Come on, Pee Pee!" And then when it wasn’t happening, I consoled him saying, "It won’t work?"

Then last weekend, he woke up dry from a 2 to 3 hour nap, and I was SURE he would be able to go… nope!  He sat there for a while, leaned down to his nether region and said, "COME ON, pee pee!"  He then would look at Haylee and I (Yes, we were all crowded around him in anticipation of his pee pee party!) shake his head and say in a mournful tone with his little forehead wrinkled, "Won’t work."  "Won’t work, Haylee."  :)

We are planning a small party to commemorate his fabulous two years on Saturday, but tonight we will celebrate at good old McD’s or CFA with time to play on the playland and ice cream for dessert!
