My First Ever Tag!

How very exciting, right? I’ve been tagged by Tiffany. I know the ones I choose to tag may or may not feel as excited, but I think I will enjoy my excitement in the meantime.

Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.

Here are my 8 things:

1. I have never in my life mowed a lawn.

2. I consider myself an excellent judge of character and can often gain in a first impression whether or not a person is one I will get along with.

3. I am addicted to the grocery game and the world of couponing.

4. In my life, I have only kissed one man.

5. My senior year of high school, I got caught sticking my tongue out at my English teacher. She liked me, so I managed to not get into any trouble. :)

6. I watched my first “movie at the movie theater” in Cancun on my honeymoon. I was almost 22 years old. (It was Girl Interrupted with Winona Rider and Angelina Jolie.)

7. I have quite the need for pleasing people and am very conscious of what others may think about me. I’m much, much better in this area than I used to be, but it continues to be an area of sensitivity.

8. I knew my husband for five years as friends before our whirlwind dating and engagement. (Two months dating, five months engaged). I actually had a crazy crush on him when I first met him our Senior year of high school. He didn’t give me the time of day however. If only he knew what he was missing!

Okay… there are my 8 things. Now, I’m tagging Bette Anne, AmyShelle , Rachel, Ellen, Michelle, Amy Q, Sherri, and Debi .

So, I guess you don’t have to do it if you don’t want to, but you never know it might be fun. It will be a good chance to let everyone get to know each other a bit better, you know??!!

Now that was nostalgic. I love the English teacher one. You and Dan both were always pushing your limits there. Too bad she never liked me:( I don’t have eight people to tag since I don’t really communicate with too many this way and you tagged the ones I already do! I will post my 8 things so you can check it out later.

Ha! I don’t think I will ever forget the way my heart thudded to the floor when there I was with my tongue out like a three year old and she glances right over and sees me. :)

Ha, too funny! My first movie in the theater was The Lion King. Seen with Dave and Deb Olson on one of my summer breaks in college. Thanks for tagging me! I’ll probably do this one next week sometime, I have a bunch of posts already in line.
And, yay, for Bette Anne and Ryan! Too cool that Eli was born on Grandma’s birthday! Today is my mom’s birthday and last Saturday was Aunt Carol’s. We’ve got quite the grouping of June birthdays.

Hey! Just wanted to let you know I enjoy reading your blog. I guess I should start doing one myself. It’s hard to find time these days. I laughed when I read about meeting Chris b/c all I could think about was the discussion we have had about who started going to your church first he or you. Hope your doing well! We need to get together just as soon as life slows down a little for me!
