I’m really excited about trying the Crockpot Spaghetti! I can’t imagine how it could work, but I am really hoping that it will, ha ha!
Here’s the first step…
You break the noodles and put them in the pot dry! Say what?? I did make sure to buy an extra large jar of sauce in case in ended up dry-ish. Anybody else ever tried this?
We don’t really have spaghetti very often since Chris is SO not a Spaghetti fan {can you believe it?}, but my Wadester specifically asked for Spaghetti last week {sorry hunny}, so I thought it would be a great time to try out Michelle’s crockpot method!
I can’t really prep this one ahead so that left me only 2 meals to do this week. I doubled the Chicken though, since it is a great ‘weekend approved’ grill meal, and it will be a great one for the freezer. I try REALLY hard to have fun type meals planned for the weekend {though it doesn’t always happen}. Otherwise we end up ditching the planned meal and opting for a more fun take out meal. What can I say? We’re human, and by this point in our marriage, it’s an ingrained habit of eating out on the weekends. :)
If you are same way, you should really try this yummy recipe because it is SO good and SO easy! Just THREE ingredients… honey mustard, teriyaki sauce, and chicken! You can also just broil the chicken if you don’t wanna break out the grill. :)
THREE meals in just 22 minutes!
My freezer is still seriously STOCKED. My top two shelves are STUFFED with frozen goodies. This week, we’ll be enjoying some yummy Lemon Pork chops going from the freezer to the crockpot! :) Can’t beat it.
I’m still prepping our lunches for the week too, though I haven’t been sharing because, honestly, they really aren’t all that exciting. :)
We’re pretty much doing the same things each week, but it’s working for us. I do need to start eating some of our leftovers for lunch to help with my throwing away food problem though! Heating up leftovers is just hard to fit into my quick and painless lunch plan, you know? :)

A GREAT big THANK YOU and WELCOME to all you fabulous new peeps following along too! So happy you’re here!
I love how you set up your menu.
I made spaghetti in the CP for the first time last week. I used homemade sauce. I was a little skeptical too :) It turned out great! The only thing I will be more careful with next time is leaving it in there too long. After a while the noodles can get overcooked and mushy. But, it was so great to have ready on a busy sports night!
Hmmm, thanks for the tip! My Crockpot always seems to cook things super fast anyway, so I'll have to be sure to watch it close… Seems like I need to turn to warm for the last hour usually.
Your menu sounds great!
I must say I'm very intrigued by the process as well…5 meals in one hour (or less) – I'm really going to have to give this one a try…
Love your site by the way!!!
Hhhhmmm, crockpot spaghetti…I'm intrigued!
