M.S.E…. Day Three & Four

I am loving this “carefree” week of no dinner responsibilities!  I don’t know if it’s something I’ll keep up with doing every week…. just cause Sundays are crazy, and I am often trying to get other important things done in the afternoon like grocery shopping and lesson plans.

I definitely can say that the time investment initially is MORE than well worth it.

Day 3 was a family favorite, though it may not be on your dinner menu…. Egg Salad Sandwiches.

These were quick and easy to take out of the fridge and whip right up!  The only problem with it was when Chris asked me on Monday if he could have some egg salad.

I think he was joking, or at least he was after he saw the look I gave him.  :)

Day 4 was Baked Spaghetti…

This one tasted exactly the same as when I’ve prepared it normally.  I do prefer doing spaghetti baked since it seems easier for the kiddos to manage, though there just isn’t a way to make spaghetti not messy, is there?

I don’t think it tastes as good if everything within arms reach isn’t covered with red sauce right? :)

The Official Review…

Everyone was a fan was a fan of both, though Chris’s only involvement in the Spaghetti was to say it smelled good.

I am shocked at how much more “free time” I seem to end up with since I am not planning {stressing} and cooking dinner each night.  I even had the time and energy to make some blueberry muffins after dinner….

{Gasp!}

And since the Davis-man was still snoozing, I amazingly even organized another drawer in the kitchen!

Shocking, huh?!

I am so loving not having to “cook” dinner each night!

{Are you tired of hearing me say that, yet?!}
