Happy Vday to Me

Chris had his lovely class on Valentine’s day which meant that we only saw each other a few minutes in the morning and then after his class which was about 10:40 pm or so. He decided to designate Friday our Valentines day instead, but he did have this fun surprise waiting on me when I got home yesterday! He’s such a talented poet you know! :)

This first note was on the kitchen chair in the middle of the kitchen to face us when we walked through the door. (Click on pic to enlarge it).

This one was on our bed…
This was taped to the dryer…
And this one was inside the fridge as you can see!
Behind the note were some Krispy Kreme donut holes and some honey buns too! :) Isn’t he creative? :)

Today at school, while I was reading to my class I got some roses delivered to my room! :) I don’t know what others thought of me getting flowers the day AFTER Valentines day, but regardless of that, it was nice to get them! They even came complete with a red vase which I will most definitely find a place for!

Tonight we are going out for dinner ALONE! This may be our last chance for a long while, so we will try to relish every moment! :)

Loved the notes… too cute. What a nice thing to do for you… I am glad that you are getting a nice evening out tonight. Enjoy the time alone w/out children. LOL. (I don’t care what anyone says, it does get a little more difficult to “get away” with two vs. just one.)

It’s almost time!! I’m so excited for you. Praying for you each day to have a safe and speedy (as relatively painless as possible…) delivery!

    Happy Valentines Day!

RELISH is right! We dropped the kiddies off at KidTime (a cool drop-in childcare place) in Huntersville last night & made a run for it… Dinner & a movie. With about 30 minutes left in the movie, my cell phone vibrated… I SO didn’t want to answer it! (That’s horrible, I know…) Lawrie wanted “his Daddy,” so we had to pick them up early. For the record, ask the theatre management for “readmit” tickets if you ever have to do this… you can go back & see the movie again later for free! :-) So… it wasn’t a total bust…
