Sometimes the things your kids say is just hilarious. I wish I could remember half the stuff that Haylee cracks us up with. It’s so fun seeing things through a little one’s perspective.
On the way home from Eli’s birthday party the other night, Chris and I were trying to show Haylee the beautiful “full” moon.
When she finally saw it, her response was, “Why is it not like a taco?”
*Like the crescent shape of the moon… in case anyone didn’t catch the reference… :)*
Then, yesterday at the mall, we were checking out Goody’s sales since they are closing down their store. Mom struck up a conversation with an employee, who informed her that they are closing 69 stores or something.
Haylee was listening intently to the exchange and spoke up in a worried tone, “If they are closing, we better get out of here!”
As we were cracking up, the guy told her it was okay. It would take another 8 weeks.
(Just in case you are getting excited thinking that you need to come check out Goody’s sales… save yourself a trip. Maybe in a few weeks things will get cheaper, but basically now it’s a joke. They have most of the store marked 20% off. whoo-hoo.)
Kids definitely do provide a welcome entertainment.
Too funny. Claire is always coming up with hilarious stuff too. I TRY to write them all down, but it just seems too hard to catch them all! LOL. :)
kids are so funny. It seems that mine are always coming up with crazy stuff. Wait until Wade is old enough to help.
My boys feed off each others silly comments…loads of laughs! Also, about Goody’s “sale”, how retarded is that??! 20% for closing the store?!? I guess we’ll probably see a bunch of their stuff at places like Marshalls, TJMaxx and Ross! LOL
