From the Archives…

{As I was reminiscing reading through ancient posts on my old myspace blog, I decided that I needed to repost some here since they are things I just don’t want to forget.}

This week’s is more on the Blast from the Haylee Past…

Haylee’s picture was in the paper!

She’s famous!

We go to the library occasionally for their reading time, and they had a special day where they brought in these therapy dogs for all the kids to pet and play with. This huge room was packed, I mean packed with kids and their parents. You could barely get a parking space.

The bad thing was this older man got up and "lectured" on the uses of therapy dogs, blah, blah, blah. You could just feel the attention span of the kids quickly slipping away. He must have talked for like 15 or 20 minutes before he finally brought the dogs out for the kids to see.

We were starting to lose hope, actually! We stayed for a while after most of the people had left, and Haylee was all up on the dog hugging him with her "ahhh" sound effect she does when she gives a big hug!!

Sniff, sniff! I remember that “ahhh” hugging sound!!
