As I was reminiscing reading through ancient posts on my old myspace blog, I decided that I needed to repost some here since they are things I just don’t want to forget.
This week’s blast from the past is Haylee’s 3rd Birthday Party!
We had her party at Nana and Pop’s house on Saturday, May 27th. My last day of school was May 11th, so once I got my classroom cleaned out and packed up I could focus on getting ready for her party!
We had lots of fun, but it was so very, very hot! We stayed outside to eat and then escaped in the AC to open gifts and cut the cake. There were little ones crammed in everywhere, and with the house’s high ceilings and hardwood floors, the noise level just echoed back and forth all over the place which only added to the pandemonium!
I then made the mistake of passing out noisemakers to the young ones, which did get me some glares from a dad or two! :) All in all it was a good party which ended with a hayride for young and old courtesy of Pop!

She had an awesome Strawberry Shortcake Cake with all the icing piped in by Aunt Kelly!
I’m glad I have until next May to worry about another party!
It was a fun party for sure, but oh I specifically remember how unbearably H-O-T it was! We melted!! Probably the reason we have not thrown an outdoor party SINCE!
:)
Oh my goodness! CUTENESS! Love the shades… ;)
