It’s time for some Fashion Fun! Are you ready? :) You should be proud again… only 1 set of the dreaded “self shot.” Woohoo!
Dress: MM via GW Shrug: Say What Shoes: Old Navy
This thrifted dress was such a fun find with the yellow ruffles on top and grayish black skirt! This was a bit shorter than normal for me, so I opted to go with flats instead of making it seem even shorter with heels. :)
Tank: Target Capris: NY&Co thrifted Shoes: Gap
This is a typical “i’m-a-mom” outfit… simple and comfy. The trifecta would be “cool” as well. A crucial factor when you are out somewhere chasing after multiple kids. :)
Dress: Cruisewear&Co Shrug: Twenty-one Thrifted Shoes: Old Navy
This is a super comfy little t-shirt dress that was bought in international waters direct from the Carnival Gift Shop. :) Crazy, over-planner me actually forgot my swim cover up dress on our big cruise so I visited the little ship gift shop and paid way too much for this one. :)
Little cotton dresses like this one can be really comfy and cool with the scorching summer sun, and serve double purpose making you feel just a tad more put together. :)
I have tried countless outfits with this cute little gray shrug and finally found one that will work, woot!
Dress: No Boundaries Shrug: Twenty-one Thrifted Shoes: Old Navy
Here’s ANOTHER springy cotton dress! Apparently I’m into these dresses lately. :) And yet another score for that gray shrug! I’m on a roll! I decided to try getting a shot with my pretty flowers in the background instead of my normal backdrops. I think the flowers make anything look better. :)
Pants: Gap Top: Merona Belt: from Ross Shoes: Fave Brown Flats
I had to do some serious brainstorming and digging to come up with this ensemble for my meeting with my Headmaster and Principal to sign my contract. I don’t know why I was over thinking it except for that seems to be my predominant spiritual gift at times {ha!} but I wanted something in between super dressy and casual.
I didn’t want to look like the odd man out as the only one roaming the halls super decked out in my dress to impress duds.
Problem was that post weight loss, most of those “semi-dressy” work clothes have bitten the dust. These pants were actually brand new with the tags still on that I had found on clearance {I think} at Gap assuming that I would be able to fit in them soon. HA! It wasn’t too much after that, and I was adding the baby pounds and there those pants have sat. :)
The top is probably too big for me really, but the wide belt cinched it in and made it look decent. Hooray for working with what you’ve got!
It’s Davis approved, so that’s all that really matters, right? :)
Have you found any great thrifty fashion lately? Doesn’t it make you feel like super woman when you find something awesome for C-H-E-A-P?!

Cute! I bought a super, no-iron dress today at consignment for all those mornings when I’m running late!
You look super cute in all of your outfits.
Congratulations on your new job! I’m a teacher, too.
