One sad thing about cruising over Easter meant we weren’t with our crazy kiddos Easter morning to do Easter baskets and get pics of them in their Easter duds. :(
Nana and Pop made sure to get lots of pics for us, though, so we could see how cute they were!
Nana also spoiled them (and the other gkids) with a fully stocked and super cute basket! I just loved Wade’s Elmo basket with the bunny ears. :)
They even got to wish us a Happy Easter!
After we picked them up we headed home to do Easter baskets from us. Better late than never, right? Actually, since we were celebrating “after the fact,” we got to take advantage of the after Easter clearance! Whoo hoo!
This will probably be the ONLY year our kids get the cool and enviable premade Easter baskets. I most certainly don’t remember ever receiving one. Though, of course, my privileged husband asked me incredulously, “So… did you get homemade ones???”
He apparently received both kinds growing up… so he says. Further evidence in my ongoing case that I was deprived and he was spoiled. :) After all, I am the poor, unfortunate middle child, you know.
Absolutely LOVE the pics of the kids!! :) You are soooooo funny – I was an only child and I don't recall ever getting a "pre-packaged" Easter basket… so does that mean I was "deprived" as well? ;) ha ha…. After-holiday deals are the best!
