We are having a GRAND time away, and I thought this would be a great time to give a SHOUT OUT to some friends with NEW and FABULOUS blogs.
You’ve met my good friend Kristi before from Cooking Unbound. She really has a great concept… cooking without being TIED to a recipe!!
She shares lots of great recipes and always amazes me with the things she makes from SCRATCH! Things I would have never even thought I COULD make from scratch. :)
She gives lots of detailed pictures and tips too which I love.
Here’s a taste {ha ha TASTE, get it?} of some of her great recipes…
Her Ham & Swiss Sliders are a FAVE of ours! I think I could almost eat the whole pan. We ate these Monday while we were away… a perfect combo of fun and easy food! :)
And this EASY Homemade Salsa!! I love the idea of making something like this from scratch. Especially when it’s easy and it means I can actually whip up my own when I’ve got the munchies!
This Chile Lime Marinated Chicken looks DELISH doesn’t it??
She is NEW to the blogging scene, and I would LOVE it if you would go make her day and pay her a visit!! You won’t be disappointed!
I also want to show some love to my friend Christina who has guest posted here before as well from Centsible Savings. Christina recently launched a brand NEW blog, The Frugal Homemaker all about decorating our homes beautifully without breaking the bank!
She is a fellow Goodwill Lover and does AMAZING THINGS with her Goodwill finds. She is starting a new feature called Friday Fun & Frugal Finds sharing all her great deals.
I love to see the great things she is able to find for CHEAP. Did you know you could Decorate from the Dollar Store???
She had some good thoughts on not Fretting the Failures…
And this one on Decorating for FREE using Nature…
I know she would love some visits too. Starting a blog is H-A-R-D work, so please go show her some LOVE as well!
I’d love it if you’d go click over to both and let me know what you think!! :)
Hope you are all enjoying your Thanksgiving Holiday and creating lots of GREAT memories with FAMILY!!!
Don’t eat too much tomorrow!!
awww – thanks for the shoutout!! :) you are so sweet!
Enjoy your time away and your big turkey day tomorrow with family!
Just a tad jealous that all your cooking/prep is done and you are "vacationing" while I am running around looking like that ole turkey in my fridge finishing cleaning, cooking, decorating. :)
Thanks, Renee!! Hope you are enjoying your time with your family this week!
