Today our Wild Wadester is FOUR years old!  I can hardly believe it!  He has been itching to finally be FOUR for so long.  For a while now, when you asked him how old he is, he would sadly answer, “Stiiiiill three.” 

Poor guy.  :)

He is one crazy dude that definitely keeps us hopping. Just last night while hanging off his dinner chair to reach a fallen raisin, he desperately called out to Haylee for help with a phrase we had never before heard him utter… “For goodness sake!”

He also kept greeting us all with his apparent new favorite word.. “Bonjour!”

Four years ago, we could hardly believe our journey of infertility was finally ending… we were actually going to be able to hold our little wee one!  Chris thought it would be awesome to have a Leap Year Baby, but my feelings were exactly the opposite!  I grew up with the most taunting brother of all time, and all I could picture was our baby being teased mercilessly about only being an actual fourth of his age because he would REALLY only have a birthday every four years!  :) 

Our baby, in fact, would probably have been teased by that very brother who is still ever the taunter. :)

Thankfully, Wade decided to appease me and escape the teasing, though I did go into labor Leap Day night.  :)

Happy Birthday to our Wild Man!  You make our lives FULL and INTERESTING!!  :)
