Davis is amazingly SIX MONTHS OLD!  The months have gone by sooo fast and yet have dragged on at the same time {during the sleepless nights!}!

He is 14 lbs 13 oz, and on Sunday was diagnosed with his first ear infection… in both ears!  Evidently he wanted to be like his big brother since Wade had just been told of his double ear infection just moments earlier. 

Davis is very fond of his bubblegum amoxicillin {as is Wade}.  He sucks it down just as fast as he possibly can.

I am hopeful that we will all be better soon!  We are READY for SPRING!

He is still rolling all over the place and will often roll himself over and snooze on his belly in his crib. There is something so cute about a baby sleeping on his belly!

He is just starting to sit up like a big boy and loves to grab and suck on his toys. It amazes me how much he is growing up.

He just took his first bath in the bigger bathtub this past week and seemed to love it.  It was easier on me since he tended to sliiiide on down in the bath sling thing. 

Yesterday in honor of his SIX month birthday, he got to eat some cereal for the FIRST TIME.  He sat in his bumbo chair on top of the table and watched the rest of us eat our yummy Shrimp Rolls, and then it was HIS TURN! No, not for shrimp… for that yummy, bland, tasteless baby cereal!

He was extremely fascinated with the spoon as were my other two during their first bites, but unlike them, he loved it and may have eaten the whole bowl full if I would’ve let him!  I stopped him just because I wasn’t sure how he’d do with a tummy full of cereal and didn’t want to end up with a massive outburst.  :)  Toward the end, he was doing this funny little fussing between bites like he wanted me to hurry it up! 

Haylee and Wade thought it was great too!

He has been sleeping better and better though I hate to say that loud enough for him to hear me and decide to prove me wrong.  He usually completely konks out after his last feeding around 8:30 or so and wakes up somewhere around 6:00. 

Who knows, maybe the cereal will give us another hour!  :)

We love our Little Surprise and can’t believe it’s already been SIX MONTHS since he joined the family!
