Our Menu…
Monday… Cheese Enchiladas {from last week}
Tuesday… Ranch Pork Chops
Wednesday… Country Ham Casserole
Thursday… Leftover Buffet {I think “Buffet” makes it sound so much better, don’t you?}
Friday… Pizza Night
Saturday… Tacos
Sunday… Roast and Potatoes {Lunch}
Since we are doing a Leftover Night again, and I am using a meal carried over from last week, I only had to fix 3 meals this week!
Here are my meals ready to go…
I tried something new for my meal prep… hanging a plastic bag for trash right smack in the middle of my work zone.
I know. We aren’t talking rocket science here.
Our trash can is waaaay off in the opposite corner though, so in previous weeks I’ve just kind of made a trash pile on the counter {gross, right?} and just thrown it all away at the end.
Hanging a bag close by was such an improvement. Less grody and more room to work!

Mrs. Bru gave me a new name for leftovers years ago that my kids thought was fun. One night we were talking in the hall after church after the PM service. She asked what we were going to have for supper. I told her then asked what she was having. She said they were having mustgo. I had never heard of it, so I asked what it was. She said it depended on what it was before. I was thoroughly confused. Then she explained that that was what they called leftovers. She said, "You know–you look in the frig and say, this must go, that must go…."
We've been calling leftovers mustgo ever since.
