I know you were sitting on the edge of your seat waiting to hear the results of my clothespin experiment, so I thought I would fill you in!
It was easy peasy!
I took it out of the ziploc bag and stuck in right in the crockpot…
Then I just removed the clothespin and spread out the crock pot liner and wala…
It was a tad messy since the cream soup was on the liner at the top too, but I managed to suffer through it. :)
Same thing again the next day…
One benefit to doing it this way is that all the “liquid” from the soup stays with the meal. When I was storing it in the ziploc and dumping everything in the crockpot, it seemed like I was losing a lot of the liquid part left in the ziploc bag.
The hardest part about this Crock Pot Cooking is remembering to start the silly thing.
Oh, and smelling the yummy deliciousness all day long too!
I know it's insane, but I've always been afraid to try those liner bags… the logic just doesn't make sense that they don't melt when cooking all day in the crock. LOL I know, … I know… I'm crazy. It does definitely look/sound easy to use. Maybe I need to shrug off the crazy logic and give'em a try. ;)
