M.S.E.… Day One!

Day One of the “Martha Stewart Experiment” was Turkey & Cheese Cups. One of the best things about the Experiment on Day One was the lack of the foreboding feeling normally hanging over my head throughout the day that I need to start dinner {all coordinated around Davis’s schedule of course} or worse… figure out WHAT to do for dinner.  It was SO VERY nice to know that dinner was taken care of and NOT have to dread it all day!

I took the cups out of the fridge, uncovered them, and popped them in the oven.

We were also having leftover macaroni too, so I had to heat that in the microwave and I was D O N E! Wahoo!

I thought these were so cute!  I couldn’t believe that just putting two pieces of bread into a muffin tin would make them come out shaped like a muffin.

Unfortunately I did burn them a tad {I told you I wasn’t a cook!} since I was trying to rock Davis to sleepy time while they were baking.

The Official Review…

I thought it was pretty good.  Of course, not burned would have been better. Chris ate two reheated after he got home and called them GOOD!

Haylee and Wade liked the cuteness factor of them, I think.  Haylee ate two, and I even got a spontaneous, “That was good!” from the in house food critic herself.  Amazing.

Wade wasn’t a fan, I don’t think.  He only ate part of one, though he told me later when I asked him, that he thought it was good.  I think I kept confusing him calling it a “cup.”  :)

Overall…

Success!

Tomorrow is Ranch Chicken!
