Cruising Capers…. Day 6
Okay… believe it or not, THIS is the
last installment of the incredibly drawn out series entitled… “Cruising Capers.” I’m sure the anticipation is killing you.
I am surprised that we are pushing June and I am just now finishing up, when our trip was the beginning of April. :) So… this post is going to mostly be pictures… Hope that’s okay..
We headed to one last free breakfast and waited for the signal to debark. Debarking is a complicated process, you know. If you want “them” to carry your luggage off, you get a ticket with a number on it and then you are “dismissed” in that order. I guess they are trying to avoid mass stampeding off the boat. If you go that route, you actually have to pack your bags the night BEFORE and leave it in the hallway for them to pick up. They do remind you to be sure to leave out clothes for you wear home. :) Wonder if they’ve had people forget that tiny yet important fact.
We managed to carry our stuff ourselves, so we got to leave before the rest of the crowd, but we did have to wait for our signal.
We finally made our way out and started home. We stopped at some outlets on the way and I got a fabulous new purse!
I LOVE it!!!
Later, we enjoyed dinner at the OG!! Whoohoo!
Finally, it is time to see the kids!!
I think they missed us!!!
We found this “magical” headband for Haylee at a store called Del Sol. It changes to red in the sunlight. :)
Wade loved the inflatable Carnival boat we brought him. Nana even put some water in the tub so he could see it float. The only problem was he wanted to get in with it. :)
It was a good trip, but we were glad to be home!!!
The End!
So glad you had this opportunity! :) It all sounds like it was incredibly fun. I'm sure the kids were happy to see you – their faces say it all in the pics. ;)
