Netflix Neat-o

Chris subscribed us to Netflix several weeks ago for like $9/mo, but I wasn’t really that thrilled with  the idea.  At that point we had tons to watch on the DVR and never seemed or seem to have the time to watch everything as it is.

I will admit that I was the complete Netflix downer from just about  Day one.

However, that has changed now that Netflix has enabled INSTANT (yes, I said, I-N-S-T-A-N-T) movie downloads through the Wii.  (The Wii just has to be connected to the internet.) I shouldn’t even say “download” since there is virtually no wait time once you choose your movie.  It literally is ready  for viewing in mere seconds.

I think this will be very cool for my lonely nights during Chris’s dreaded 2-10 shifts… So I suppose I must renig my earlier disdain for the said Netflix subscription.

The “catch” to it we have figured out is that not all newer releases are available for instant viewing which stinks, but  that $9/mo does include having one dvd at a time checked out which would give you the new releases too, I guess.

Either way, I think that so far, it appears it may be worth the $9/mo after all… :)

    Have ya'll gotten it yet???

We got the disc from NetFlix that you need to stream the movies last week & have already gotten WAY more than our $9 worth!

I think my FAVORITE feature is all the kids shows that you can find on there… Right now, Lawrie's IN LOVE with the "Super Mario Bros." t.v. show that came on back in 1989! Go figure!
