Update…

I’m still here, believe it or not! I guess I am not going to be able to keep up my blogging like I would like to. :( I find it hard to summon the energy to post after a long day!

Wade and Haylee are doing well… crazy as normal. Haylee is still loving school, but she is OVER the excitement of the uniforms and is ready for her regular clothes. :) Our first fundraiser (The Boosterthon Fun Run!) is tomorrow and she is ready to put on her “fastest shoes” and run around the track to raise money for her school. :)

At last count my class was in fourth place out of the 17 elementary classes at $134 pledged per lap… which I thought was pretty amazing. I promised them a fun afternoon of popcorn and a movie if we reached our class goal. It should be a crazy day!

I thought Wade looked so cute Sunday that I had to snap a pic of him in his cords and snazzy shoes. He’ll be 7 months October 1st!

We had some crazy excitement Sunday at church. During Sunday School, the lights kept flickering on and off randomly. I was quite distracted, while Chris remained stoic, with eyes straight ahead listening to our teacher! :)

Right at the end of class, the fire alarm began blaring… and I mean BLARING! We all evacuated, and went around the building to check on Wade. The nursery fire alarm plan is to put the babies in the cribs and roll them outside. :) Wade was in the middle of eating, and we found the nursery worker holding him while he finished up his bottle.

When it looked like it was going to be a while, they decided to move the service to another building and we made our way over there. They announced later that a squirrel on the roof had somehow interfered with the electrical and in the process was fried. :( It was definitely an interesting day at church.

    Wade has gotten so big. He is a cutie!
    Morgann has also gotten over the excitement of wearing a uniform. She wants to wear her ‘Cozy’ clothes. At least my laundry has been a bit better these days.

    Wade is growing up so fast! He is SOOOOOO cute! Loved his little outfit! I’m in the same boat about blogging – life’s too busy right now…
    Your excitement at church was a bit humorous — though I’m sure it was not so at the time. :)
