A Night Out!

Well, this weekend we were able to get away and enjoy a night out on the town minus the kiddos. It was a break that we both really needed to be sure. It was so nice to be able to get “dressed up” and have some good old adult time. We went out with Sam and Heather and got a prime spot in the back seat of their brand new mini!

Sam was zooming along so fast we ended up with a blurry picture… har har!

We went to Harpers in Charlotte which was great. It was really nice to go somewhere different and feel like this was a special night. :) I know that I’m cheesy and emotional but I think I’m still hormonal from pregnancy.

Sam is home for 2 weeks from Kuwait for his R&R time. It’s been nice to have him back again. He has a few more months until he comes home for good. March 17th was their 1 year anniversary so they took a week to get away to Gatlinburg to celebrate.

OH jealous! Wes and I are in desperate need of a “date night” … How nice! He has been working so much that I forgot what he looks like so to go to dinner and get to have an adult conversation would be really nice!!!!! Good for you!

Yea! So glad you were able to get a night out on the town “sans children”! ;) -Unfortunately, “date nights” end up being few and far between for us… Take advantage of every opportunity for dates that you get!

You look so good, Renee. I love your hair right now. -Are you going to grow it out again?

How nice for you two! I’m really jealous, because you have such wonderful babysitting material (i.e. family)! We have to pay our sitters, and WOW does that ever add up!

We had a lot of fun with you guys too. Honestly, you guys are one of our “top picks” for friends to hang out with. Can’t wait to finish LOST too, when Sammy comes home for good!!!
