Lovin’ Little Ones…

So things are crazy here. I’m operating on little sleep and have a little one who has now decided that his life is not sublime unless someone is physically holding him. He does give me short bursts of time when I try to dash around and get things done and then I’m back to the good old one-arm style of doing things. It really is amazing the things a mother can successfully do one handed. :) I even cleaned the toilet today while holding him. :) So… I’m sorry if I’m complaining, but I’ve heard that venting is good for the soul and may prevent insanity. I definitely may be on the road there. :)
Chris has of course been super dad helping out hugely when he’s home… He has even taken a regular night feeding shift and then getting up and heading to work by 8 am. Like I said, he’s super dad. ;)
But… regardless of all that I do desperately love my two angels…

She looks like she’s about 10 years old! Too cute! ;)

That’s such a sweet picture of the two of them! Hang in there, you’ll make it through these midnight feedings!

Hey, have you ever tried using a sling? They’re WONDERFUL, and so much easier to get stuff done that way. Just a suggestion, but still, we mothers do have to “one-arm” a lot!

(What I really want to know is, how do you manage to find time to clean the bathroom? I’d be snoozin’, lol!)

I didn’t use a sling… but I did use a really nice front carrier, which was SOOOOOO helpful. With both girls, I even vacuumed with them sleeping in it and everything… it never phased them a bit. Claire definitely wanted to be held a lot and using the front carrier was DEFINITELY a way for me to get things accomplished.

I love the pic of Haylee and Wade too,… she certainly does look older! WOW. Just look at her and remember how quickly the last 4 years have gone. Your midnight feedings will pass quickly…

    Have a great weekend.

    PRAYING FOR YOU!!!

The kids are so cute. I can’t believe how much Wade has already changed. Wow…time goes by way too quickly. Enjoy all those moments, they all too quickly become a distant memory.

For some reason only the pic of Haylee and Wade was showing when I first commented… weird… :) Anyways, how in the world do you have time to clean the bathroom! ;)

Wow, I am amazed, cleaning the bathroom when sleep deprived. The picture of the two kids is precious! I am so happy for you and Chris!

Check out http://www.ergobaby.com. Their slings are the greatest! Even thought they may seem a little pricey, if you’ve got an attached little one, it’s worth every penny!

Wow, you have two beautiful angels. I can only imagine how hard it is to “keep everything together” with a newborn. Kudos to you though because your house is still always spotless and organized and you always look great. I give you multiple gold stars!!!! ;)
