In case you’re unaware, Easter is early this year. It’s coming up this Sunday actually, which just happens to be 3 weeks after I’ve given birth. So… that fact makes shopping for a dress a bit challenging. :) I know that I don’t NEED a new dress. But… I know that I want a new dress, and I want it to be my former size, hide all my flaws and make me look skinny. :) Is that asking too much?
It wasn’t too difficult to find something for Haylee. Life is much easier when you have the figure of a four year old. We found this cute, cute dress at one of my favorite stores, Ross Dress for Less!! How much do you think this particular dress would cost me? Well, as a matter of fact, it was only $5.99. We even got another dress for $7.99 and shoes for $9.99. The child does not need shoes, but she is such a lover of them that I guess I couldn’t resist. :)
Now, shopping for mommy is a bit harder. I had no luck at Ross or Dress Barn which is my go-to place for dresses. Dress Barn will usually have something that I like. I may not want to pay their prices, however… It’s not very easy getting out with my two in tow, and I was running out of time before Easter.
So… yesterday, the whole family shopped with me at Kohl’s, and I found this dress. It was originally $48, with 40% off… then the lady in front of us in line passed on a 30% off coupon for me to use as well. So I only paid $22. Not too bad I thought…
I’m sure Haylee will look much better in hers… ah… if only I had the blissful shopping experiences she does. :)
Hello. This post is likeable, and your blog is very interesting, congratulations :-). I will add in my blogroll =). If possible gives a last there on my blog, it is about the Notebook, I hope you enjoy. The address is http://notebooks-brasil.blogspot.com. A hug.
Love the two dresses… I purchased for the girls this year, but not myself… not really sure why, I guess. Glad you found something that you like. Can’t wait to see your family Easter pic! ;)
okay funny and really cute that both are polka dots and you know polka dots are one of my fav designs.. (what I did Marli’s first party in) I love both dresses a lot.. I had a hard time too and Kohls is where I ended up and got something very simple cause I was getting so irritated.. and great deals by the way and only you could get a coupon from the lady in front.. ha
