Words of Wisdom All Should Heed…

I am now 36 and 1/2 weeks! Whoo-hoo! I’m officially in my 9th month which just seems sooooo close to the end!!

Things are still undecided with me in regards to my birthing plan. Being induced on the 21st is still an option for me that I’m considering. I am planning to teach until the 19th which only gives me a bit over a week left of school which is very hard to imagine! I will then go in to see Dr. Peach the morning of the 20th to determine if he is going to give me the option of being induced on the 21st. So things will be up in the air until then. Hopefully, I will have made somewhat of a decision on what I want to do before that day comes!

My sub is going to do a fabulous job and I am so thankful for such a competent replacement. She is even going to willingly finish the year for me which is such a blessing. Haylee will probably not make it without school, her classmates and Mrs. Dehart! I am hoping her teacher will pass on her school papers to me for her to work on and keep busy… :)

I had an appointment with Dr. Peach Friday and he passed on some fabulous words of wisdom to me that I simply MUST share….

“There are only TWO things you ever need to say to a preggo woman:

#1) You look good!!!

and…

#2) Are you feeling okay? ”

Does that not cover everything?? He says there is no need to mention how said pregnant woman is too small or too big or heaven forbid you share your horrendous labor and delivery stories to scare her to death!

So listen and take heed all you would be well wishers. If you just don’t know what to say, please don’t tell her she looks like she’s ready to pop. Instead choose one the above mentioned perfectly acceptable phrases.

All pregnant women everywhere will thank you.

I had to laugh about the previous comment — I had almost forgotten how much people were insistent that I must be further along than the Dr. said or I was carrying twins the first time around. Yeah, that got old after a while. LOL. Ahhh, the joys of pregnancy! ;)

Amen to that! One of my brother-in-laws jokingly told me once, “My, you’re looking very pregnant today!” when I was in my 9th month, and I wanted to kill him!

Seriously, though, you look really great! Praying for you!
