Valentine’s are only 49 cents at our Party City…. and I thought I got a good deal paying a dollar at the Dollar Tree. Haylee did even find Barbie ones! How exciting!
She is going to be giving them out to her class, although she did want to get “boy” valentines to give to the boys. She didn’t think that she could give Barbie Valentines to the boys. :) I was able to convince her that girls give “girl” Valentines and boys will give “boy” ones… A bit of a tough concept for a four year old perhaps.
I am so glad that I finished changing my bulletin boards at school to February-ish. Actually ahead of time, can you believe it? I have even changed their name tags! I think I may take some pics of them b/c I’m pretty happy with how they turned out… We will be having our Valentine Party on the 14th (big shocker, I know) and I’m actually almost completely prepared for the big day. It is a good feeling when you feel like you are a teensy bit ahead of this crazy thing we called life!
Five weeks from today… ;)
I’d love to see your pics of bboards and nametags, etc… always love a good idea. I hope that your Val. party goes well… I’m working Val. Day — actually having my first formal observation that morning. I’m a little nervous b/c the kids are going to be so wound up and excited for the party to come that afternoon, I’m afraid they may be next to impossible that morning. Oh well. Hope you have a great weekend. LOVE all of your family pics… they are so nice. Bette Anne does such nice work.
